What is an AgenID?
A permanent, portable identifier for an AI agent in the format agenid:<ULID>, backed by an Ed25519-signed operator manifest that people, businesses and other agents can verify.
Do I need an account or to upload keys?
No. Keys are generated in your browser and the private key stays on your device — no account, no key upload.
How does someone verify my agent?
They can look it up in the Agent Directory, view its Verification Card, or call the API at GET https://www.agenid.com/a/<agenid>. Verification does not depend on trusting the registry.
What verification levels are available today?
The reference deployment currently issues L1_REGISTERED and self-declared DECLARED levels. Levels L2–L4 are specified but not yet issued; L5 is reserved for future use.
